Dr. Sphesihle Ndlela

Dr. Sphesihle Ndlela is a Senior Software Developer at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange(JSE). She is a creative problem solver with proven strategic thinking ability. Her career journey has made her a dedicated, consistent, agile, and result-oriented professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as a drive to succeed at any given task.
Sphesihle holds a Doctor of Business Administration degree from MANCOSA, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Regenesys Business School and, a Bachelor of Science (Data Communication Technology) degree from the University of Zulu land. She has 18 years of Technical experience, specializing in Software Development, in which she has worked in an Agile environment. She understands DevOps and Scrum methodologies. She also has worked as a Technical Lead and Scrum Master. She has grown an interest in solving a small business problem, by merging technical expertise with business management knowledge. Furthermore, she has recently embarked on a journey of research in order to provide solutions to problems faced by Small businesses in South Africa and beyond. Her areas of interests are Innovation, Creative thinking, Critical thinking, Creative Problem-Solving, SME management, SME survival, SME longevity, SME sustainability

Associated Professor Natália Teixeira is working at ISG – Instituto Superior de Gestão. Natália has a PhD. in Economics (University of Manchester, 1999), and her research interests are economic growth and economic cycles, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability, being an integrated member of CEFAGE – Center for Advanced Studies in Management and Economics.
